What are Process Modules?

Our process model is comprised of several modules. Each module serves as a functional area i.e. focusing on a particular aspect of the process model. A process module is a high level process group. It is a way for systematically decomposing and organizing the process model. Our process model is based on the High Level Structure (HLS) of ISO 26000. Process Modules ::

1.0 Develop Context of the Organization
This process module involves identifying and engaging the relevant stakeholders, developing social responsibility strategy, performing gap assessment and documenting the social responsibility program. It consists of the following process groups:

2.0 Establish Leadership
Leadership involves setting up a board and senior executive team, framing relevant policies and clarifying roles, responsibilities and authorities. It consists of the following process groups:

3.0 Develop Plan
Planning concerns developing strategic goals and framing strategies on how to achieve these goals. This phase also involves performing risk and opportunity analysis of the strategic plan. It consists of the following process groups:

4.0 Develop Support
Develop support is concerned with developing the required support base relating to resources, competencies, communication, awareness and information systems. These support bases are developed with the overall business as well as social responsibility strategy in sight. It consists of the following process groups:

5.0 Manage Operations
This module concerns developing implementation plans and collecting operational data. It consists of the following process group:

6.0 Evaluate Performance
This module involves monitoring, measuring, analyzing and evaluating implementation of social responsibility program in the organization. It also involves performing an internal audit of the entire process and conducting management performance review. It consists of the following process groups:

7.0 Manage Improvement
This module involves developing a continuous process improvement program. The focus is on continually improving the social responsibility program of the organization. It consists of the following process groups:
